Edith Oncica is a Brasov born and raised Romanian painter, writer and Artist of Femininity who takes a holistic approach to her feminine image artistry. She is driven by her passion to show women how beautiful they naturally all are through content creation, styling, makeup and hair.

With 14 years of experience, she moved to Bucharest in the summer of 2018 and launched her business under the Edit by Edith brand in Romania’s capital in December 2018 followed by Edit by Edith Production in the summer of 2019. “When I’m doing what I love my soul is alive.

I realised early in life that this was my personal truth, motto and journey. Love of life, love of people, love of nature, love of beauty. Doing the things I love with love. That led me to painting at an early age. I still do, with the female body being central to most of my works. As I discovered makeup as a teenager, my own face became a canvas for me. My own body became a sculpture I could drape and style. And it wasn’t long until my friends and family could not escape me.

We are all beautiful children of the universe. Each of us in our own way nature’s beautiful work of art. The female face and form inspire me. Women are my muses. And so, I discovered what I love doing: showing women, through make-up and styling, how naturally beautiful they already are. I’ve been lucky to be doing what I love since I was 16.

Since my teenage years I read and watch anything I can get my hands on about fashion and beauty. I’m driven by continuous learning and being creative with what I learn. But I part with the industry when it tries to tell women they are not good enough as they are. We are ALL beautiful as we are. The universe did a pretty amazing job with each and every woman. I love enhancing and bringing out the best in them. Always natural. You can be daring, edgy, bold, strong or sensual – whatever you want to be – without straying from who you are. And I think that’s my particular strength. Understanding your shapes and reading your face. To bring out the beauty I see in you.

Within the time span of a year after launching Edit by Edith in Bucharest, Edit by Edith Production has become the main focus of my business. It naturally evolved that way and it fits me like a glove. It challenges so many sides of my creativity.

As we emerge from the pandemic, the importance of content only increases in order to build and engage communities. It needs to be creative and eye-catching to stand out in a digital space where everyone is vying for eyeballs and attention.

We create concepts with you based on your business requirements, and take it from there: organizing and planning all the required elements; photography, videography, models, makeup, hair, venue, wardrobe, accessories, props, etc., all the way to the delivery of the content and aftercare.

Besides our passion for the creative, we pride ourselves on our reliability and professionalism, and manage our productions - large and small - as projects with clearly defined objectives, deliverables, deadlines and budgets.
